The Wizard of Oz

the wizard of oz is a piction story. this book is about Dorothy a girl from Kansas  and her dog Toto who was in a Tornado, she couldnt enter the place where they hidded from them so she just suddendly appierd in the land of munchkins. then all those little men told Dorothy that her house had just killed the wiked witch of the east, she had those silver shoes o her. then Glinda a good witch came and it all maked sence. well it seemed that the personn who had killed the wiked witch will be the one who kept those powerful shoes. Dprpthy asked how could she get back to Kansas and Glinda said only following the yellow brick road. that when the wiked witch of the west should up. the couldnt to anything to Dorothy in Munchkin land but once she got out of there to her way to the esmerald city the wiked witch could do anything.

on her way tp se Oz which was the only person that could help Dorothy go back home. gettin out of Munchkin land. On her way she meets a Scarecrow who needs a brain, a Tin Man who wants a heart, and a Cowardly Lion who desperately needs courage. finally they make their way to the esmerald city, with their only protection the ruby silver shoes.

once they get to the esmerald city the supose wonderful wizard tells them the only way he can make al their need and wishes is if they kill the wiked witch of the east, beacuse it it was all a failer the wonder full supose wiard seems like i just a normal person, Dorothy and her friends discover that before they get to the witch? or will she get them? or i heard it was only a dream a very bad dream…

main idea: i think that the main idea of the story is throw everything Dorothy has to pass until she gets to esmerald city, the wiked which was to to alot with this. for example throw all the yellow brick road.

plot: the plot is first of all well that dorothy eventually ended in the munchkin land so thats the first one the second one is the witch everything has to do with her, shes so bad. well and at the end it  i think that everything becuase it was all related and throw everythong that Dorothy, Toto and the others had to go throw.

theme: i think that the most important theme or lesson is that no matter what you think you have or dont have you have to trust on yourself and be the best of you. i know that becuase the scarecrow becuase he tought he didnt have brain and he was the most inteligent of gruop.

conections: the connections that i made where mostly with the movie, in the movie the shoes that belonged to the witch where red and in the book silver. i also made a connections thats well i saw the musical of broadway Wiked thats the sotry about the wiked which, so i after saw it i know shes not that bad.

recomendations: i recomend this book, its very interesting and i think thats a great story with may details.

new tittle: if i couldnt call ir the Wizard of Oz that i think its a perfect name i could call it the yellow brick road.

setting: it frst takes place in kansas but then it moves to well the land of Oz.
