Lost Boy, Lost Girl (escaping the civil war in sudan) is a book that is based on a true story. This story is told by John Bul Dau and Martha Arual Akech. This war is in Sudan. Throughout all the sotry you will listen to both Marthas and Johns point of view of what was going on. They lived in their normal lifes with their family unitl one day they started  to hear people dieying, so they both runed away. The 2 of them runed in difrent ways but they both happened the same thing which was that they couldn’t get a good and stable place to live because everytime they arrived somewhere they though they would be safe the camp would get destroy. Many terrible things happened like new diseases and many more until finally Martha moved to the USA, not long after John moved. They started to get education, live normal lifes without running away like they used to and in the end they started dating, got married, had kids and could life really happy with their families. I really liked this book also because you could compare the two stories at the same time and look what are the differences that they lived both in the same war only that in different camps or moving to different places, and see how they were meant to be together and found themselves. 

This book I recommend to a very large audience, because as it’s the point of view of a man and a women at the same time, men and women audience would really like it because it states both points of views and many times you don't like books because its to girl stuff of boy but this one is a mixture of both. I would not recommend it to small child because the atmosphere is really hard sometimes and people who cant tolerate and are not mature enough would probably don’t like it.

Daniela read the same book as me both by recomendation of Ms. Shawn. 

i think that the vocabulary words that you choose were really good and the deffenitions were  brief and to the point. They sentences were also good and made sense with the definitions below. The comparisons of the words were also good they were simple topics but topics which you used in daily life so that were easier to understand. The review was also really good, although I would add to it the recommendation of people who should read this book.

If we made it that far , the chasing armies would not follow us.

The truck bounced and shook us along some very bad roads, but we arrived safely at Kakuma.

Food was not enough, but we shared what he had with other members of the group.

If I was a stranger

If i was a stranger who didnt know me, or had any contact with me by looking at my portafolio at first view I will imidatlly asume that i am adicted to Messi, not only because its full of photos of him but because i talk abput him alot in all that i saw.
while you keep reading on you would probably realize that i can express my self and put alot effort in proojects, as many of my choosen pieces are projects.

I have choosen that I don't want to edit my work because I want to create a new whole one. I want to right about the personal feeling in the binacionals final game, telling details about the game and expresing the feelings also telling some other things that happend throught this one and as its a topic which I like so I think I'm really going to enjoy writting it.

we want to change are school because we want to prepare the kids for collage and make them see the real life when their are young so they are prepared. 

kids can benefir from the school cause it makes them see what is needed for each career and be more success full in their future. Also as they are going to work hand to hand with specialized people and tecahers taking in consideration each student. 

parents: if the their kids take a career they dont want because they didnt learn about it before choosing to take it they can save having their kids take aother career and start from 0 and have to pay collage again, aslo by seeing their kids be happy and see that the school really focus on each and every one of them. 

administrator: the kids are with a lot of knoledge and because they are gona gain more money because the teachers are more specialiced in the areas, also getting to now each kid. 

Details: 

- elemntary is going to be normal(like CNG) except that kids will have background info about the carrers so they can de able to choose.

- middle school is also going to be like CNG but you will explore each carrer and exporatories are going to be like about the options of carrers

- it can be boarding school or a normal achool depending of where you live. 

- athletics are going to be as good as all the other carrers like: architecture, lawers, etc

- you specialized in the carrer chossen thhroughout HS 

- specialized people in your area would come each month and teach the students in HS about their carrers and whats expected and also give them tips about how it is in the every day life. 

- when we can we will take students into their areas so they can live in it.

In school I really like to do many things. I consider myself a really happy person and a person with a really positive attitude. When I finish school and I have to go to my house I most likely don't to yet but stay to play soccer. Soccer is a sport I have played since I can't remeber when, in my family mi brothers both of them; Alejandro and Camilo belong to many teams not only the ones in school but many others in a really good level, my dad played throughout all his life people even told him to become a profesional but now a days he can't play anymore because of a disease that he has. As I enjoy playing soccer a lot y also love whatchinh it, I'm a huge fan of FC Barcelona, I love Lionel Messi which is another passion that I have. Many times when I arrive from school after doing my homework I love to go on to tumblr to reblog photos about Messi.  

 Other than sports I really like being with my friends, I consider myself a really social person and sorounded by a variety of people and friends which I love being with. I also love to watch series online, I track a lot of them like; Gossip Girl, Big Bang Theory, Modern Family, Revenge, those are only few. Meanwhile I watch I love to eat, I eat everything except bananas which I don't like at all, as I love to eat well I also cook some things that also comes from family. I love doing many things and being happy!! 

 In my portafolio I think that I could include my passions in photos, I think that all of them can be represented in pictures.

PE I have always like that class because is a class in which you disconect from all the academic and those things, the 3 things that I most liked or well activites were soccer well because I love soccer and also I discovered that I'm good at volleyball especially at serving which I didn't know I was good at.  

Sociales: 
In sociales I have done really well through out the whole year. One of the best assigments that I did was the interviews, in this assigment we where supposed to interview about 3 really important people who worked in politics or people who knew about politics. I think that this project which I did with a partner; Isabela Munoz, was really good and we did it with alor of dedication and really got the information we where hoping to get and also more than what we hoped.

For me the best project I did in english class and to be honest we did many projects was the persuasive project! This project was supposed to have Ethos, Pathos and Logos. This project was in partners and my partners where sofia and laura and I think that it was a really goood video and had all the info needed. 
 

Social Studies: 
In social studies class I think has been one of the most interesting and really intertaiment classes I've ever had. In this class I have really put a lot of effort throughout all the year and I really like the grades I got in my tests and DBQ.

Math: 
Math has always been a really hard subject for me to understand since I was little and well I hope I can say for not a much longer time. 

Science: 
I'm really proud of a a lab I did about matter in which I could really explain everything!  

 Spanish: 
In spanish we have done many projects including like a binacionals new report, a nacional report and many more although for me the best project I did was a Lionel Messi project. As I love him I really did an amazing job in the project. 

Out of school: 
Out f school I really like to play soccer and whatch series online. I love being with my friends and watch soccer. Also now I love to be on tumblr because I have a Messi tumblr so its really cool. 

About me: 
I love playing soccer. Other than soccer I also love to eat and sleep!

2. I think that this 3 tasks that I think I did the best on where the 3 of them projects what I mean is that the 3 of them where 2 of them videos and the other one a power point which I think that always help me to do the best in. 

3. Also this 3 things where topics which I really find myself familiar to, for example in the abortion project I feel like its a topic which people really need to understand that it needs to stop and its a topic also that really touches you, the interviews where a really important project and its a topic which in my house we discuss a lot so its a topic I really wanted to learn about and by interviewing some people who are really experts made me put all my effort in, the Messi project is a project which y really enjoyed doing because as I love messi it was getting to know more about him and it was a project in which I could really put nice photos and things I liked.
